During the Tamil month of Puratasi, mid-September to mid-October, hill treks around Anaikatti open to pilgrims and trekkers. The rest of the year they stay closed.

A climb through forest to the Perumal shrine on the hilltop. Puratasi Saturdays are the busiest days, as at most Perumal temples.
